We are now looking for a Design Technology Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate team in January. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will find a supportive and collaborative team eager to help you thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials that foster innovation, creativity, and technical skills.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
  • Use assessment data to inform your teaching and provide additional support to students as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Design Technology Department to ensure consistent and high-quality teaching.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote creativity and practical skills development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools.
  • A solid understanding of the Design Technology curriculum.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology or a related subject (desirable).
