Staff Nurse - Days or Nights (RGN / RMN)

Location: Oxfordshire

Hourly Rate: up to £23.50

Hours: 36 hours per week

At Find Medic, we are looking for an exceptional Nurse to join the team at one of our clients in Plymouth based Nursing Home.

About the Nursing Home:

At our Nursing Home, we offer exceptional residential, nursing, early-stage dementia, and respite care for up to 60 residents. Our tranquil and welcoming environment is dedicated to providing specialist and high-quality care.

Night Nurse Role:

As a Night Nurse at Find Medic, your professionalism, kindness, and compassion will shine through in everything you do. During night shifts, you will assume the role of the most senior staff member, ensuring the security and safety of our residents and the home. You will handle any emergencies that arise while providing vigilant care throughout the night.

Leading a team of carers, you will have primary clinical responsibilities, offering guidance and support as needed. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of nursing and personal care. Collaborating with residents, their key carers, family members, and the wider team, you will deliver, monitor, and reassess individual care needs. Effective communication with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies will be crucial. This role offers numerous clinical experiences and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should be a qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration. Post-registration experience and evidence of continuing professional development are essential. Leadership abilities and a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks are desired. Experience or a willingness to train in various clinical areas, including medication administration, catheterisation, end-of-life care, and more, is highly valued.

As a positive role model, you should possess excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build strong working relationships. Your supportive leadership style will motivate the team to deliver exceptional care to our residents.
